Holiday Cloche Centerpiece

Holiday center peices are very personal and can be made with anything you feel sentimental about to keep it personal.
      ITEMS:
Cloche
Greenery ( fake)
Ribbon
Large ornament
An ornament stand
Platter to go under cloche
hot glue
fake snow
tiny holiday toys or ornaments
Start with a simple ornament stand. There are lots of options for these.
Then take a simple platter and hot glue the bottom of the stand to the platter.
Cover it with fake snow, to hide the base.
Now take your large ornament and tie a loop at top with ribbon or wire to hang the ornament on the hook of the stand.

I also add a pretty fluffy bow to the hook to hide the loop on the ornament.

Hang ornament, and add little toys, and ornaments to the snow.
Add Cloche!
Here is one I did with a Santa ornament we've had for almost 30 years!
Embellish the cloche with a little ribbon, greenery, glass ornaments, and tiny toys. (I also added a crystal drop from a chandelier!)

Add ornaments, etc all around the platter so the view is pretty for all sides.
NOTE - I also add a tiny drop of hot glue to the cloche base and platter to seal it for easy transport from the table at dinner time. I do a drop in 3-4 different areas.

Christmas Pretty Pillows... So Easy!!!!

Christmas pillows are expensive and gorgeous. So I dress up pillows I have all year and make them feel a little more holiday!
This is an easy fast fix to do a quick makeover for the holidays!
Items:
Pillow
 Scarf from closet
 A sparkly brooch
Safety pin
Scrap ribbon from an old package
That's it!

Take your favorite scarf and tie in a bow  or tie in a loopy bow with 3- 4 loops, then wrap the edges around to make a center. Leave a little length for strands. Then safety pin it to a corner, then fluff it and spread out the loops!  That's it!

Or add a sparkly brooch to a plain burlap year round pillow to the center and it's instantly pretty!

I also used a scrap piece of ribbon and literally dropped a little hot glue to the corner of this inexpensive pillow, for a 3 dimensional touch.

I sprinkled these into my sweater pillows and chalkboard pillows!  Ho Ho Ho!

Merry Christmas!
